The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

aTM wins this year:

USCe
The Mississippi schools
UTSA Roadrunners
Arkansas
Lamar
Texas State

Losses:

Alabama
Auburn
Clemson

The losses aren’t particularly bad.
The wins sure aren’t good.

It leaves a very large range of where aTm could fall but those wins alone don’t put anyone in the top 25. Being in the SEC gets you in the top 25.

SEC teams usually get ranked based on who they lose to, not who they beat.

you can look deeper and see that A&M barely beat Arkansas and needed a late fumble and TD to beat a also bad Ole Miss team.' Their "most impressive win" is probably this past week over a reeling South Carolina team who is coming off getting blown out by Tennessee and losing to App State.

They arent going to beat anyone in the top 15 and they also arent a sure win over even the pit of the SEC. It's hard to rank teams after like 20 though. So naturally the SEC team if available will get placed.

Florida's 9th in Scoring Defense, Bama 12th, Auburn 13th.

Texas is 84th

Florida's might be a little inflated. 2 games against FCS teams, both ended in shutouts.

LSU by far the best offense theyve faced put up 42

Kentucky scored 21 on them, South Carolina 27. Not exactly the most explosive of offenses.
