But will an undefeated B1G, Pac 12 or Big 12 champion get in over an undefeated Notre Dame?

If the hypothetical is undefeated Ohio State, Oklahoma, Utah, and Notre Dame then

Notre Dame > Utah (PAC 12 is in bad shape)
Notre Dame < Oklahoma (Who else will get blasted by Clemson to set up Bama-Clemson 23)
Notre Dame = Ohio State (This could be similar to Oklahoma where it might as well be a coin flip in the eyes of the committee)

If this scenario happened the CFP would implode. Because I assume that Clemson and Bama went undefeated followed by LSU and UGA with 1-loss. It would definitely black hole itself if Bama has one loss to UGA in the SECCG.

Maybe I'm naive, but I do not believe that a one-loss team will ever get in over an undefeated "big 5" conference champion. I also don't believe that an undefeated ND will do so barring an unusual year where their schedule is crazy strong (e.g., they beat otherwise undefeated USC, Clemson (amazing how they never play), and a ten-win Michigan team) and the conference champion has played a shit schedule (e.g., Iowa runs a terrible BIG West and due to an OSU upset beats a Sparty team with two OOC losses and one conference loss in the BIG Championship game).

I know its horribly flawed, but according to epsn's FPI, Clemson is clocking in at a 62.3% chance to finish undefeated. That's not a testament to how good they are, but how bad their schedule is. From here on out, any wins by less than 20 points (including the ACC championship game) should be viewed as losses, at least as far as the CFP committee goes, IMO.

Based upon their projected losses, we'll end up with undefeated Clemson; then Bama, tOSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and UCF with 1 loss, followed by LSU & Georgia with 2 each.
