All 3 applicants had trash resumes. The fact that osu wasn't worthy does nothing to change that reality for the other two.
And you keep pretending Alabama's been a juggernaut this year and that they are not the exact style of opponent that Wisconsin craves. It's really credible.
Sonofabitch! Dobbins and Weber got suspended?!?!? I guess since we dominated down the stretch with them we can't compete anymore since they're no longer on the te....oh wait, what? They're still on the team? I guess I don't see your logic.Barrett played like utter trash most of his time in The Game, and played like trash against Wisconsin. Neither of those games should have been close. Barrett wasn't the reason that the Buckeyes destroyed Sparty either. The running backs combined for 286 yards rushing in that game.
Is the team that Bama barely beat (Miss St, who lost against Ole Miss) and the team that Bama got handled against (Auburn, who is 10-3 and got housed by Georgia) any good? Are the teams we beat that great?
I honestly do not know.
Here's where I got -3 FYIYou have nailed why the Buckeyes have been so inconsistent. Teams emulate their leaders.
Bama was -6, not -3 over the Buckeyes, at the Westgate where the lines originate.

funny you should mention that... when bama plays a team with a pulse that barely happens55-24.
Alabama doesn't have that cold sore on its resume anywhere.
Sorry but that cannot be excused no matter how weak we think Alabama's schedule is.
Alabama has never had a game like that.
Champions do not lose on the road by 31 to an unranked team that can barely break 20 points up until that game.
Barrett > HurtsDoes the Tide have bumbles as bad as ours this year?
So where on there are you showing me Alabama losing by 31 to a team that struggles to score?funny you should mention that... when bama plays a team with a pulse that barely happens

I don't see Alabama giving up 55 points to anyone. In fact, the most points they gave up all year was 26, on the road to a team that finished two spots behind us in the final CFP poll...that's less than half of the 55 we gave up to the team that the following week got shutdown like a high school JV team, by the very same Wisconsin we just beat for the conference title. That loss was simply too much to overcome, and what Alabama did during the regular season had squat to do with their getting in...we win at Iowa, or at least look respectable in a close loss, and we're in instead of Bama.funny you should mention that... when bama plays a team with a pulse that barely happens

We've been talking about who would win a matchup between OSU and Bama. But as for your comment on resume and Bama not losing a road game by 31, I put in bold the operative word that doesn't apply to Bama, and didn't apply to OSU last year when they had 3 top 10 wins and their only loss being a fluky loss on the road against a top 10 team. If you are a non-champion, you should be required to have a legitimate resume. That precedent has now been broken.55-24.

Put it this way, if you had to put up a year's salary on OSU or Alabama to win straight up on a neutral field, who would you pick?
Talking this year morons.
Yes.
I'd put it on Bama.
Oh I know. Still pick them to beat us as much as it pains me to say.
I'm going with Vegas.
WTF???
