I just love how these idiots just ruined the job. Even if they have a false sense of their place in college football, what "top tier" coach will want to take a job where the AD kowtows to the fan base. Who do I report to? You? Some toothless douche in the parking lot? Yeah.. no.. go ahead and keep you HC job. Thanks.

When I heard Brohm’s name come up, I thought good God why would he want to get mired in that cesspool. He has the real possibility of turning Purdue around and getting paid handsomely to do it without dealing with any of that southern garbage.

I know some Buckeye fans are on the fence about the CFP, not liking our chances and not wanting to see a repeat of last year. But I'll give you a reason to want a bid, if you need one: KEEP ALABAMA OUT.
"Tide fan" is indignant that there is even a discussion of a playoff that does not include them. If they're left out, the meltdown will be glorious (especially if tOSU gets in).

Paul's comments have caused some social media outrage but I don't find them all that unfair:
“If Ohio State had won the game 35-10, maybe, but they just limped through that game.”
“If Wisconsin would have found a way to win, it would have been criminal to put them in. Listen, call me whatever you want, but Wisconsin would be lucky to be the fourth best team in the SEC. They certainly wouldn’t be in the top three.”
I'm not sure Bucky is in the top 3 in the B1G this season, either. They didn't play State Penn or Sparty.

Bucky was the beneficiary of a VERY soft schedule. Their best asset was a solid, not great defense that had its stats enhanced by the garbage they played. It took tOSU shooting themselves in the foot multiple times to keep from allowing 500 yards/40+points in that game. Offensively, they're a sludgefart. Hornibrook is average on his best day, and while the FR RB is solid; again, it looks like he benefitted from the detritus their schedule was loaded up with. tOSU totally shut him down. I have a hard time seeing them as a legitimate top-10 team despite their shiny 12-1 record.

I'm just never going to agree with this line of reasoning. It shouldn't matter whether you beat the #4 team in country by 1 or 40. If you didn't believe Wisconsin was that good then you shouldn't have had them ranked that high to begin with. It's not like the committee has shown themselves to be above ranking teams with more losses over teams with less losses. If Georgia was #4 and OSU beat them on a last second field goal we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
And the comment regarding Wisconsin being the fourth best SEC team is laughable for several reasons. One because Wisconsin, like you pointed out, avoided Penn State and Sparty so they could be the fourth best team in the B1G for all we know. Two because Finebaum pretends like the SEC isn't a dumpster fire this year. Wisconsin would be LUCKY to be the fourth best team in the SEC? Outside of Barn, Bama, Dawg trio, who in that conference would you pick over them? An LSU that got physically dominated by Troy? A Miss State team that escaped UMass by the skin of its teeth? Please. I'm not even sure I'd put Georgia and Auburn ahead of them either. It's not like we haven't seen Wisconsin go toe-toe against similar SEC teams before and hold their own if not win. The same Wisconsin team that OSU beat 59-0 certainly wasn't up 2 TDs on LSU before losing because Melvin Gordon had to leave the game earlier in the year. That same Wisconsin team certainly didn't run for 400 yards against an Auburn team that gave Alabama all it wanted and more. Even in a down year the SEC hyperbole makes me laugh.
One of these days this stuff won't annoy me.

There's nothing fair about this line, nor does its logic treat Alabama very kindly if you actually rate this Bama team and stop giving them a lifetime pass to the playoffs.
Bama showed they were the worst of the "good" SEC teams. The fact that there isn't a 4th competent squad in the SEC (like in the B1G) is not a feather in their cap.
