So ive been confused all weekend getting emails...
Apparently there is a Club (ie non scholarship ... true amateur) womens softball championship going on at the same time as the NCAA one.
Naturally many of the same schools are in both. But it's confusing to me bc work email mentions losing to Ohio State before the tournament (this happened NCAA) ... and then getting a seed into the tournament they keep emailing me about (evidently the NCSA - club).
Which gives me impression that maybe service academies can game the system since there's technically no scholarships? So their team lost entry game against NCAA Ohio State into NCAA tourny, flipped to Club mode and gained an entry into NCSA tourny... where they faced Club Ohio State and apparently won first game. As Navy came through losers bracket and Ohio State was undefeated, Navy will have to beat them a 2nd time (being played now?)

.... how confusing

Tldr: As always, the most important thing is that Michigan sucks. So i can say with great pride that Navy eliminated them in final round of losers bracket.
