Herrenbruck 4-0 with a 1.67 ERA in his final 4 starts of the season (Including 7 innings of 1 run ball against a upper level Nebraska team). He's not really in the mold of a guy who goes pro after his JR year, always a chance someone tries to poach him from us but hopefully they can retain him as he would be a nice piece for next year.

They definitely tried all they could to give it away in that 6th inning
Ellis had 2 pretty bad errors, but him throwing out the 2nd guy trying to score at home after the 2nd error of the inning probably saved the game.
Hopefully they can put together a clean defensive game against whoever they get tomorrow.

if they eliminate ttun then to me theres nothing left to do this season. it would be a complete success heading into year #3 for Haire

Defense killing us again. Ellis can't field what woulda been a inning ending double play and instead it's 2-0 scUM

Offense ice cold at the worst time. Making this scUM pitcher look way better than he has been all year

Bitter way to end the season on the verge of getting complete game shutout by the scUM pitcher who entered the game with a 4.50 ERA

Disgusting ending to an otherwise very improved season.
The offense was a hack fest but the home plate ump wasn't doing any favors. scUM pitcher got constant questionable strike calls whole our pitcher constantly got squeezed into walks. A definite case of a conference making the call to do all they can to try to push another team into the tournament
