Giving them 5 outs in the top of the 9th was not helpful.

Starting a tournament on Tuesday when the weekend guys are unavailable and you are stuck with the back end of bad pitching depth makes it difficult to win. Hopefully next year brings a bit better pitching depth. That's always going to be tough for "cold weather" schools, but ours is currently very bad and improvable. This will be the big hurdle for Haire, if they even had somewhere close to average pitching depth that allowed them to not go sub .500 in the mid-week games this year, things would be looking even better right now.
