Uh, no, Gene, it's like, not bad at all. Very OSU likeIs that bad? Asking for a friend
It would argued that a change is needed if they were only ON PAR with regional peers. But they legitimately behind conservatively 2 programs IN OHIO. And I think they are behind 4-5 programs.Yeah this season has to be it. OSU should be better, at least compared to regional peers.
Actually it could be stated that they are possibly #1 among their regional peers, if Greater Columbus is their region (Does Capital have a baseball team?).It would argued that a change is needed if they were only ON PAR with regional peers. While that is a great question, I doubt it. Coaches salaries and starting the season with 20 games on the road (in the South) does not seem to me to be trending in the self-supporting category.Serious question: If OSU really gave a damn and got an excellent coach who started recruiting and killing it on the field, could the program actually be one that pays for itself at some point? Break even I'm saying taking a little burden off the football team so that money is better utilized for other sports that give a shit.
