Furcht and Eckelman are playing great baseball to start the season. If that continues we're in for a pretty great season

La Tech is a reasonably good mid level conference team, wasn't really expecting to beat them both times but it would be nice to beat them once. Regardless if they beat Memphis again id consider this weekend a success, id hope this year they can beat the greater majority of teams that they should and Memphis is definitely in that category.

ttun out here beating legit P4 teams and I'm just happy if OSU can hang with fucking St. Louis and Memphis

We got an amazing recruiting uptick so give this group a little more time. If mid season they still struggle then there's room for concern

Been pessimistic about OSU baseball since I watched the greatest OSU baseball team I've ever seen (the 1999 squad) blow a chance at the CWS at home vs CS Fullerton. Ughhhhhh

Fisher took one on the chin tonight but he's going to be great. We've gotten hits and not many strike outs so good at bats just need more in the clutch. I'm still optimistic.

Exactly. The Mosiello disaster completely screwed the program when it was already waivering in meh from Beals. This was going to be a multi year rebuilding effort regardless no matter what. I think Haire has done the right things so far and recruiting is going well, this year likely isn't going to be a big payoff year, I think somewhere around .500 or maybe a little above is an attainable goal for this season which is obviously a huge improvement
