    MIAMI Feb 25, 2007 (AP)? A 13-year-old boy bound to a tree in the woods foiled a kidnapping-for-ransom plan by using a safety pin, his teeth and his hands to escape, police said Sunday.


    Investigators searched a Bradenton house early Sunday and issued an arrest warrant for Vicente Ignacio Beltran Moreno, 22, but authorities believe he has fled the state.
     
    He's got a job at the Phoenix Foundation if he wants it.

    This was right here in Manatee County. One of our reporters was at his house with his family when he called his Mom after he got away. The guy wasn't too smart... he used to work at the farm where he tied him up... the kid gave a great description so it was hard to ID him...

    here's the scumbag.... Vicente Ignacio Beltran-Moreno but he goes by Nacho.

    I'll let you in on a little secret.....the whole thing's pretty much nonsense you know? But making a movie about it got me into the Oscar's last night, right? And there be some damn fine ladies at the Oscar's, ya dig? Kate Winslet....me and her.....we got. it. on. in the handicap stall of the ladies room last night. It was H-O-T!
