Tuesday evening update:
Well, we survived lots of hours and miles in the car over the weekend and even a night at the in-laws house. We made it to their place on Sunday around 6:00 PM and they told my wife and myself to go out for the evening and they would entertain and watch the boys. They told us to go out to eat and see a movie. Well, my wife ended up getting sick about an hour or so of us being out so we headed back to her parents house. We were back at their place about 30 minutes when they gave up with the boys as they were worn out. My wife and I ended up putting the boys to bed. My in-laws are used to my niece who spends her time sitting and playing, while my hellions run around and play.
My in-laws were on their good behavior the 18 hours we were with them. It seems my wife's brother, who lives 30 minutes from their parents, is pissed at them and refuses to let them come over or go see them. They are now being very careful not to upset my wife.
Oh yeah, we went out for breakfast Monday morning and there was only one check for all of us. I, of course, paid. I guess my in-laws put up a stink to my wife, after I went up to pay.
It pains me to say it, but I am happily back home (in michigan).
