Man! I read meters for Columbia Gas and I had to work in the Hilltop earlier this week. Tell you what I feel for the people who have to work there all the time.

Going down to these basements, eek! Do they know how to do laundry in this area? People have some pride in yourselves! Freaking dogs are something else too.

I was a Field Rep with Nielsen Media a few years ago and had to install the ratings equipment in some of the filthiest houses in the Columbus area. I quit that job after 6 months because I just couldn't handle some of these filthy people. I went into one house. Explained the process to them as quickly as possible. Walked out and puked in their front yard because I couldn't take the smell any longer. Luckily, they weren't watching, and their grass was so high that no one would ever know that there was puke in their front yard.
