Police Quest: Open Season was the first one I ever played. That game was awesome.

I also remember Phantasmagoria, Gabriel Knight, Sierra Championship Boxing, Aces of the Pacific, Front Page Sports, King's Quest, Space Quest and of course...Leisure Suit Larry. Sierra really was the best.

BattleToads/ Double Dragon - I only beat it using a Game Genie

Honorable Mention - Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles.

Knock Darth Maul off the edge in the final level, [censored] flys right back up from the depths. Impossible to finish.

The Star Wars games on Super Nintendo are all very hard to beat
