THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

I have both of these on the bookshelves. I have found a few inaccuracies in the Cromartie book oddly enough. It's still a great window into that period of time though.
Yeah, Cromartie’s not an insider. He doesn’t have anything to do with OSU or Michigan. He’s from Georgia and has written similar books on other college football rivalries. But it’s a worthwhile resource. Jack’s book is a Bible. It’s an invaluable resource. Because of its breadth it can’t get into too much depth but it covers the highlights. I said the book is a treasure but I should’ve said Jack Park is the treasure. We’re lucky to have him. I never tire of hearing him tell stories about Buckeye football history.

I also have a copy of Football for Player and Spectator by Fielding Yost. Reprinted in 1992, it was originally published in 1905. Its very interesting.

What it’s like to be an Ohio State football parent, with a son who’s been seething since last year’s loss to Michigan - cleveland.com

Interesting article on players' parents perspective on the game. One thing in particular that I have not seen (other than speculation) is regarding the teams flu outbreak from last year:

Rumors of an illness spreading through OSU’s team circulated in the days before the game. Zafiro Burke said his son was among the players on an IV drip at one point. The parents saw the effects up close, either from talking to their sons that week or seeing the team at its hotel the night before the game.

ERIC CHAMBERS: “That night it was like a freaking graveyard. We don’t talk about it, but those guys were so sick. It was a little stressful going into that game, knowing some of those guys could barely stand up.”
Perhaps a little more insight into how/why scum was able to run over them last year.

I don't want to see this game replayed on B1G classics, but rather Forensic Files.
