The Game: ttun at tOSU, Dec. 12 (cancelled by cowardly Vulvarines)

They have an interesting decision—under the best case scenario they were going to be huge underdogs in this game.

In my opinion, they clearly could play this game if they wanted to, but they will be short handed.

So, which is the worst outcome for them? Choosing to play and getting crushed even worse then they otherwise would down players? Or choosing not to play and being labeled cowards?

I feel like Harbaugh, in all his weirdo glory, will try very hard to avoid the second option.

I wish him luck (assuming he is fighting to not be forever labeled a coward).

What's the song the whole fanbase spontaneously breaks into for making the ESPN tournament?

There is no reasonable response to the point that this rhetorical question makes. This lesson on what it means to be an Ohio State fan is at an end. We are here for the shared experience of being Buckeyes. More than anything, that means beating TTUN.

There is always upside to beating scUM.
“Gold pants” being one.

a point to the season is another

Anyone that had the displeasure of living through the Cooper apocalypse knows that the rebuilding of the importance of the Game under Tressel and the continued dominance of the Game under Urban is something to be treasured. Day has quickly shown that he gets it as well.

I feel for those players who will not get the emotional experience of Sr. Day in a loud and raucous Shoe. Taking away their last chance at the satisfaction of kicking scUX ass 1 more time, and grabbing 1 more pair of Gold Pants, is tantamount to sacrilege.

They can all come back.....

Jesus, this thread makes me yak...some people are overlooking the fact that part of the reason we got here over the last 20 years is dUMb got complacent and stopped looking at this Game as being as important as it is until it was too late

I am with DBB in that it probably deserves a split and a separate thread about a large portion of Buckeye Nation being on dope.

OHIO STATE OPENS AS A 30-POINT FAVORITE OVER MICHIGAN

Per ESPN's David Purdum, the 30-point spread is the largest Michigan has faced in any game – against Ohio State or anyone else – since at least 1978.

Just sayin': With the spread and the o/u the bookies are looking at something like a 49-19 score. There's no way scUM will play the game. Herbie should take back his apology.

In addition, Gene Smith should be working with the B1G to waive the 6 game B1G CCG requirement and/or lining up another opponent for this Saturday.
