Here comes a flag for diving, even though he had to do it to get between 2 players.

I understand the rule. That's not the intent of it.

It's not even that the refs enforced the rule to the letter at the expense of the intent. The letter of the rule is that an unsportsmanlike penalty should be enforced for excessive celebration when a player needlessly dives into the endzone. On that play, if Posey doesn't dive he gets decked short of the goal line by one or two players closing from each side of him. That was a bad call by any measure of the rule.
