I toss my bag in the back and climb in and the driver turns to tell me, "someone took a shot at the President." We didn't say a word to each other for the next hour and a half as we wound our way through London, Cedarville, Wilberforce, Xenia and finally Kettering. All the while listening to the tragedy develop out of Dallas. That night it was announced that the Ohio State - Michigan game was postponed and would be played a week later, after Thanksgiving, 1963. The Bucks won and I think Kennedy would have wanted it that way.

As a counter to JFK, all Buckeye fans should read the eulogy Nixon delivered at Coach Hayes' funeral. It's been a while since I've read it, but there is an excerpt here:

There's only so many ways to say that tsun sux. I'll gladly wade through all the posts--because it's Michigan Week--but I am one Buckeye who truly appreciates thoughtful posts.
I'm listening to TBDBITL as I eat lunch. It's Michigan Week!

scUM is down - again - with a terrible defense. Outside of Cam Newton, neither team has an A-List NFL talent player on their team. The Bucks are looking at a 6th straight Big Ten title, but with a 3-way share it loses a lot of bragging rights and luster. Neither team is sporting a smash-mouth style RB corps. There is no National Title or Heisman on the line.
It just seems a little unpolished. I can't wait for the game, but just throwing my two pennies out there.
