Arky would be a great test on that secondary. But i'm sure there's a part of you older fans that want some of SC from back in the day.

Oh yeah I want a piece of SC from hat Ole swamp bowl of 01'..... Old Jumpy Jackson ran all over us in the wing T.... If it wasnt for skippy longfellow with his flashy punts and passes we would have really been shown up.

I'm gonna guess you're too young to remember much of the pre-BCS era. For me, the Rose Bowl is the prize you shoot for at the start of the season when you play in the Big Ten or Pac-10.

I also don't buy into the monkey factor or whatever you want to call it. I have a hard time believing a game this bowl season would have anything to do with what has happened against SEC teams before, just like either of the NC games in '07 & '08 had little to do with what went on with the Outback Bowls in '01 and '02. Besides, if you buy into that SEC-monkey-on-the-back talk based on the cumulative record, how much effect can one game really have on that?

True, I didn't really start following football until 1998, but a Rose Bowl bid this year is not a bid for a traditional Rose Bowl. In addition to that, I have no desire to play a Pac 10 team this year. I want to play an SEC team. Hell, last year there was a big part of me that would have rather played an SEC team. I hate the SEC and I want to beat them. I have no such hate for the Pac 10.

We sang 'We Don't Give a Damn' so many times today at The Game I lost count. I loved it. Awesome. Someone said they could hear it on TV, that's great. It was definitely loud enough and done enough to send the message home. We were screaming it at the scUM band all day. Then we gave them a warm and very loud rendition of 'Hey, Hey, Hey... Goodbye!' to close things out. I'm sure they felt the salt in the already gaping wounds.

Great day to be a Buckeye... but that goes without saying.

Two great things, being at the game today.

1. Got to see one of the most exciting players I've ever seen in Ohio Stadium - Denard Robinson was not oversold. He'll be fun to watch the next two years.

2. Ohio State bitch-slapped Michigan.

I was there too, noticed that we left a sort of mushroom shaped indentation, or stamp if you will, on their faces?????

I went to the game today, my first ever OSU game. I have to say that it was one of the most amazing game atmospheres I h e ever been a part of. 105,000 people all cheering their asses off. It was incredible. The Bucks looked great and I am optimistic that they will get a BCS Bow Game. I would love for them to play against an SEC team and stomp them. Hopefully it happens. Great game. Go Bucks!

I had a blast at the game today, really good fun and a great send-off for the seniors. I was afraid maybe the crowd would be a bit quiet (the complacency that comes with consistent winning) but it was very spirited. Loved the singing "we don't give a damn" and "na na na na goodbye" at the end. Three random thoughts:

-Very hypocritical of President Gee to chide Boise and TCU for playing garbage teams the week we welcomed this lot to our stadium. They could have at least tried to make it competitive.

-The officiating was some of the worst I have seen in a long time. Thank goodness we weren't facing an opponent good enough to take advantage of all those 15-yarders.

-What the hell was the Michigan band doing at halftime.

And how the band looked most of the game from my seats.

Dejected. And btw nice starter jackets.

I only remember hearing that stupid song of theirs one time (on TV) and I think it was after Posey's non-fumble. So even when they got to play that stupid song, it was a misfire.
