The Game, tOSU at ttun, Nov. 27th,12pm FOX (3654 down to 0)

 We're 10-2, and people are getting ready to jump off a cliff because scUM beat us for the first time in 10 years...

No one jumping off a cliff. The defense was atrocious, like middling P12 or B12 bad, nearly all year long against anyone with a pulse. The writing was on the wall all year you couldn't rely on your O hang 50+ every game just because the other team was playing against air if they had a pulse.

I said our D would kill us, either this game or playoffs.

Day will need to really evaluate the program going forward. The defense has been regressing for at least two years and the offense has gotten softer. How does he address this?
Day hurt himself badly by going back to the penn state game plan to start the 2nd half and insisting on running the same play 3 times in a row when Stroud was cooking to end the half

I don’t care if we’re 1-11. Scum beat us. I want to vomit.
Puke away then. As the very first member of this board, this is the second loss to them since this site was started. Let scUM get big-headed...it'll just give us more to kick in next year.

I don't care about the officiating, as bad as it was...the bucks looked soft today...the team that blocks and tackles usually wins and today, that wasn't us by a long shot

The team that runs the ball better has won 19 of the last 20. Credit them, they stuck to it. If u want to get our playmakers the ball, do it in the run game. Not one run by our WR's. Day put too much of it on C.J.'s shoulders and he didn't have to.

Really disapointed the OL didn't hold up better.

Well, honey-to-do list just came a weekend earlier this year. I’m already over this game. Ryan Day, or whoever said hang 100, better keep their mouths shut next year. This team, while fun to watch at times, was very underwhelming and frustrating to watch. I miss the emotional defenses of old. We always had swagger. This team lacked it on defense. But, football has become a sport of pussification, and the days of Tatum, Spielman, Shawn Springs, etc.. will never happen again. Football starting to suck. Maybe I’ll start watching hockey again

This game was very similar to Oregon game. D just could not get a stop when it matter and the other teams O moved it at will. Offense was good but just did not make all the plays they needed to and left some points on the board. People were kidding themselves by thinking the D improved a lot. Two weeks ago Purdue moved the ball at will. Yea it's nice they bottled up Walker from MSU but MSU had no offensive line. I just hope we see the old silver bullets come back, they've been gone far too long. Jon Heacock is still alive

Congrats to Michigan….perfect storm came together and they took advantage.

My biggest regret will be Day kind of not relying on our strengths and forcing the run game when it wasn’t there. Our intermediate game ate them up but we never really committed to it the way we should have.

I have no doubt on a neutral indoor field we beat them by 20+ but that isn’t how the game is set-up. They won, and they embarrassed us. Sucks. But to the Victor go the spoils. Day will have some soul searching on multiple fronts after this one.

How do we sure up the defense? How do we become better balanced on offense? Which coaches stay and go?

I’d still much rather be a Buckeye than anything else. Go Bucks.
