So here is where I get to every year. I'm a product of the Cooper years so I start out seeing all the reasons why this is the year that the other shoe is going to drop, it will all go wrong and evil will prevail.

Then, I start to get pissed. I get so pissed off about Cooper and all their bullshit that I just want a chance to fight. If I'm gonna die, let's just die fighting. If this is the one, then make it the most glorious death in the history of glorious deaths. If it has to end, let's sell our lives and this streak dearly....and I get here:

I think game is gonna come down to how we run the ball.

Michigan will present multiple fronts, some 4 down, some 3 down….mix man’s and zone, etc. Its a college version of the Ravens.

That said, you can end them if you show dominance in run game off the bat. I don’t think they will allow themselves to get beat deep as much as we’ve seen against other OSU opponents. They’re smart enough to know their best chance to win, is to limit explosive plays and make OSU stay patient. Can we??? We’ll see……I think we see Michigan drop 7-8 guys most of day. I don’t think we will see a ton of blitzes. I think they are going to dare us to run.

Are we OK with 3-5 yards a play? Game will be fun to watch. I’d surmise Day does get a little impatient at times and is overzealous. If I’m Michigan I’m daring him to stay patient and asking him to run the ball.

I hope we hang 100. Fuck Xichigan. Go Bucks.

I usually go through the following issues during THE game week. This is in order too.

1. We are going to win by 50!
2. Well then again we didn't play well against (insert poor game).
3. Yeah but fuck them we have too much we will win by 50.
4. Wait did I pick the kids up? (Long pause)... yes.
5. Geez I just don't feel good about this game.
6. How is it only Wednesday?
7. Maybe I should sit this one out and not have a few before the game?
8. No, I'm totally having a few...
9. Dammit what is it about this game that's bothering me?
10. No way we are losing this game.

I don't think they'll drop 8. That's not who they are this year and I doubt they'll start now. They move around a lot and they like to bring pressure with a ton of different looks.

I agree we have to impose ourselves on them (especially considering their size) but they're going to bring it and it's up to us to pick it up.

Watching a little more of them today and I have to say their pressure off the edge is intense. I trust that Coach Day has a plan for that though.

To the bolded, WE are but Ryan Day hates it. Dude gets super ixpatient with 4 yard runs. He's xuch xore Kill Bill than death by 1000 cuts. 6 to 8 yards, yeah, but the cloud of dust or rubber pellets gets under his skin. If they do drop 7 or 8 the gains will be closer to 7 or 8 each tixe too. Tulsa dropped 8 and frustrated the passing gaxe soxe but Henderson destroyed thex. I could see the saxe kind of gaxe with the saxe kind of result 48-24, but I'x hoping we gash thex early with runs and they panic - which they're known to do - and then we score big and keep going closer to 100-24. That would be satisfying.
