Let's break the game for real. Ohio State has some good match-ups, and I think they will move the ball on us some, but turnovers will kill them, as well as our ability to run teh ball and throw a few timely passes. Here is how I see it...
Buckeyes come in and win the toss, and elect to go on defense. Michigan moves the ball early in the drive, but then after the cross the 50, they throw an INT. Ohio State gets the ball and slowly moves it down the field. Eventually it's third down, but Braxton makes a few guys miss and takes it into the endzone. On the kickoff Michigan fumbles. We recover, and in one play put it into the endzone on a pass to Stoneburner. Michigan gets the ball and moves down all the way into the redzone, after the drive stalls, they try a field goal, and miss. Ohio State gets the ball back and slowly moves down the field, mostly running. The quarter ends with Ohio State having the ball. We throw a play action pass to Posey and he scores early in the quarter. Michigan gets the ball back, and go three and out for the first time in the game. We get the ball back in great position after a great return by Hall. We then capitalize with a long Boom run for a TD. Michigan gets the ball back, and on their first play Denard gets hit hard, fumbles, and Ohio State scoops and scores. Michigan gets the ball back, and wastes the rest of the quarter driving, but misses another FG. After the half, Ohio State gets the ball, and keeps it on the ground the whole drive. A mix of Hall, Herron, and Miller, keeps Michigan off balance. Using half the quarter, we stall and settle for a FG. Michigan, now deflated, goes three and out, all passes. We then get the ball back, and against don't attempt a pass. This time we aren't able to move the ball as well, and have to punt. Michigan gets the ball back, gets a few first downs, but then throws an interception. We again stick with the run, and still have the ball as the quarter ends. We continue running the ball, and eventually on a fourth and goal, Braxton rolls out and scores. Michigan gets the ball back, and moves the ball well. They get close to the end zone, but decide to go for it on fourth and goal. We stop them, and get the ball back. We drive the whole length of the field, and are able to score with just over a minute left with Joe Bauserman at the helm. Michigan gets the ball back and times runs out.
Final score
Ohio State 52
Michigan 0
But that is only if we win the toss. If we don't win the toss then I have no clue what will happen.
