I've had a rough going recently with my posts and such.

I'll take your advice and stop making any posts until Friday.

You guys are right- there is such a thing as too much posting.

But before I go, let me just say I am NOT a bandwagon fan and I apologize for some of my recent posts.

Just a final thought historical stat wise untill next year.

The overall record now stands 57-41-6 in favor of scUM.

Two different 13 year spans make that happen:

1) 1897-1918 our record was 0-13-2
2) 1988-2000 our record was 2-10-1

Back those two era's out and its 39-34-3 in favor of OSU.


So really the first 13 years of the rivalry when football didn't even resemble what we watch today and John F Cooper are the only thing scUM has going for them.

Over the last 80 years, it's dead even at 38-38-4...and that's including the Cooper Era.

Both go to show that almost any point in time untill now has been even or in OSU's favor. Thats what happens when your claims of "dominance" in a series are largely based on events that transpired pre WWI.

They have the early leather helmet days and Coop. Other than that its our series.

I recently plugged my blog That State Up North on another thread, but it?s most appropriate here as it focuses on Buckeye football with a special emphasis on the rivalry. The original song/video, ?That State Up North? should bring a smile to any Brutus-faced Buckeye, as should the several Mike Hart references in recent posts.
