Some thoughts:
  • Hopefully we make it into the CFP. I'm not super confident, but I want a chance. The D is championship level (if Webb can just cover an underneath cross), it just depends on when the O shows up.
  • This is going to be Michigan's best shot for awhile. Harbaugh has traditionally peaked during his second year (and doesn't stay much past three). He is losing a ton of seniors, and this was our "rebuilding" year. Next year's team should be quite a bit better, and the year after that? Those 2017 kids will be sophomores...
  • I've seen enough from Beck (and possibly Ed as well) over two years. Under Herman we averaged 46 and 45 points. Since then, 35 and 40, including regression in passing game, and conservative losses.
  • Decker was a green right tackle once too. Hopefully Prince can continue to grow and work on his footwork and engagement.
  • I rewatched the Combs/Peppers interaction at the end of the game. A fan ran into Peppers, knocking him back as Combs came up to him. It looked like they were shaking hands right after the fan hit him. Didn't appear to be any confrontation between the two.

I honestly don't know if OSU scores TD from the original spot after the INT.

Not to mention the lack of composure, and the message it sends to your players. If the coach can't keep it together, how can he expect 20 year old players to do it?

He is so wrapped up in the 80's *ichigan coaching model thing it's sad.

All they did for years up there is go off on the officials after every call. Bo, Moeller, Carr now Harbaugh.

Cost them big today.

Well, yeah, except for the part where Peppers clutches the fan's shirtfront and shoves him backwards.

My old man brought up the '86 crybaby act by Harbaugh to draw penalties multiple times today. He will not let it die. Was on a different level than I've ever seen. And I love it. :lol:

Knowing the result I know now, that game was perfection. What a scene. I think I truly believe Woody when I say, the good Lord could take me now after that win over them.
