Great call - Sanchez has looked very much like a true freshman all year.

I honestly can’t even be upset about Sanchez this year. We’ve been very spoiled with crazy freshman debuts and immediate transfer portal impacts. He’s having the type of understandable year that you would see if you played a freshman 20 years ago. Matriculation and development used to be understood but we’ve entered a new era of college football.

I would like to see West in the game, but I doubt he starts over Sanchez. Sanchez is 6’2” and is 3 inches taller than both Matthews and West. Iggy is the same height, but they will want more height to compliment Matthews - who’s also had his own struggles this year with penalties.

Max Bredeson, starting fullback and captain for TCUN, left the Maryland game in the first half and was seen on the sideline in a boot, along with crutches. Major blow to the cheaters. Max is the engine that keeps the cheaters going. A team leader, exceptional blocker and major key to scUM's offense, would be sorely missed if he can't play.

Nowhere near as big an impact as our two WR's (possibly) being out imo.

They are going to run the ball no matter what with whoever they have to do it with.

Our single biggest advantage is gone if we don't have Smith and Tate. We will not be able to beat these guys trying to be balanced and winning the rushing contest.
