Game Thread THE GAME: #1 Ohio State 42, #2 Michigan 39 (11/18/06)

WTF is Mike DeBord doing? Michigan's play-calling is atrocious. The stat-sheet says 14 rushes, 14 passes, but a couple of those are sacks, and even if they weren't, Michigan's bread-and-butter all year has been Mike Hart. Why all of a sudden change the whole offensive scheme? Buckeyes have stopped him a couple times, but they can't do it every time. The best defense against that offense is to keep it off the field, not throw incomplete passes on 1st and 10 or 3rd and 2. Stupid.

I have to disagree with you. I was concerned that UM would come out with a creative game plan like they did in 2003. Well, it worked for one drive, then Henne became Henne.

Mike Hart up the middle will work against most teams, but not Ohio State.
