The feminization of Sportscenter

I actually saw one of these with this kid that was an Eagles fan, and ran the camp for one day.

Normally, I'd surprisingly agree with Tibor, that the segment is unneeded and used for exposure, but this was actually a pretty cool thing, and it makes you thankful that there actually are players, teams, organizations, franchises, etc. that would go through with such a great thing, as to help out a little kid that has just one wish to meet his idol/favorite team.

I do have another bitch though. Why is it that whenever I wake up on Saturday morning and tune in ESPN Classic to see what classic NCAA football game they're replaying, it ALWAYS involves Notre Dame? It's usually ND-Miami, ND-scUM or ND-USC.

Turned on ESPN this morning to see what classic college football game was on and big fuckin surprise...ND vs. scUM from 82. I don't know why I even bothered?

ESPN sucks.

Couldn't agree more. Why can't there be another alternative?

Too bad ESPN is screwing up the hot chick thing by getting Linda Cohn and Holly Rowe.

YUCK!!!

ESPN/ABC/Disney all a waste of a company.
I would much rather have those two on, and actually have them know what they are talking about, than some token bimbo, that knows nothing. There are sooooo many hot women on TV (and everywhere else for that matter), that I refuse to alter my viewing standards for the sake of staring at a hot woman on TV

How about 2 times as worse. They are ugly and they don't know a damn thing about sports. Especially football, hockey and good auto racing(anything but nascar is good, by the way).

Harold Reynolds recently spoke out about his refusal to tote the ESPN party line in pumping the A-Rod downfall story, and days later is fired for sexual harassment. Coincidence? Perhaps.

Although no sexual harassment was alleged, when Trev Alberts left amid speculation that he refused to only pump ABC/ESPN football games, there were many bad things put in the press about his expertise and belief in football.

Although I don't like Trev, and think he can be an asshat, he knew his football, and right or wrong was willing to speak his opinion without fear of offending the NYC/Boston east coast bias crowd. He also didn't kiss Notre Dame's ass and for that, I thank him.

ESPN is still ruining sports, and turning what was once pure and a game into a business that they are making money off when they should be just reporting and giving us the most interesting stories instead of the stories that only benefit themselves.

F ESPN
