We've had two labs, Sam and Tyler, both great dogs. Right now we're without since Tyler had to be put down way back when. There's a cute lab puppy just four houses down from the beach house we're staying in and I'm gettin' the itch...

We have a rescue dog. A mutt that we think is mostly whippet, and part either boxer or pit bull.

She is pretty much a whippet with a brindle coloring and a little stockier than most whippets.

Was fast as all get out, and we don't have problems with rabbits going after our garden.

Great dog, I highly reccomend mutts and rescues.

This is Josie at the pound before we adopted her this past February, she is a Mastiff mutt. She is a great dog though, the kids love her and she loves the kids. Little bit of separation anxiety though, taught the kids to put their shoes away

If drowning puppies in your kid's kiddie pool is wrong...

Depends on your reasons

Newest addition to the family.....Aptly named Brutus!

Cool looking little dude!! We have three rescue dogs (Brutus, Buckeye and Tressel). Brutus and Buck are brothers and are 1 1/2 years old now and Tress just turned 4 months. Never a dull moment with those three around....

Here's our dog, Carmen. She's a rescue dog, probably a Weimaraner, Chocolate Lab Mix.

She easily has the best temperament of dog I've ever owned. Now 10 months old, she's calm, great with my 3 year old, hardly ever barks, and just loves being around people. I take her about everywhere I go. She does get some separation anxiety, probably from being abandoned as a pup.

Just put our 12 year old black lab down last night. Pretty crappy around here today.

Very sorry to hear that. We put our last dog down unexpectedly last October, it was extremely difficult. Losing a dog is very much like losing a member of the family.
