A defensive 2-point conversion is what it should be called. There is an actual nit to pick here. :biggrin:

There is a safety that can occur on a two-point conversion attempt. When the defense gets the ball in the field of play and then either retreats or fumbles it backwards into the end zone and gets tackled (or loses the ball out of the end zone), it is scored a 1-point safety for the team that scored the TD and snapped the 2-point conversion attempt. It happened in the 2004 Texas-aTm game.

The team that snaps the ball can also give up a 1-point safety if they lose the ball through or get tackled in the end zone 97-yards behind them when the conversion attempt is snapped. As far as I know, that's never happened.
