Of course Ohio State won, and Northwestern - Duke hasn't started yet.

Looks like they've acquitted themselves well enough. And if anyone wants to point fingers, take a look at #6 Texas and #11 UCLA first.

Iowa State lost to Kent and NORTHERN IOWA before beating Kirk "I'm the best goddamned 7-5 coach in the country" Ferentz. And Florida Atlantic? WTF? I don't care how bad a Big Ten team is, they should not lose to the battling Howard Schnellenburgers who didn't have a team 8 years ago.

Otherwise, we got some wins, and certainly we helped a lot...interesting to see what happens with PSU/UM next week.

UCLA is really lighting up the Polygamist University - and they beat USC last year.

Not much of a point, I know, but it is a long season, and teams do change from year to year.

On a weekend when P10 and B12 teams with expectations are losing or barely winning against midmajors, I'll take close losses by 2 rather low-profile / rebuilding teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see those 2 near the bottom of the conference (esp Minny). Illinois and Indiana are actually showing some fire here and there too.

I'm curious to see what the media does with tsun pounding no-d. I'm also curious to see what tsun does with it heading into B10 play and PSU.
