I have Freemake Video Converter. Got it on a free download. They offer an upgraded version, that I got away with paying about $2.99 for. Don't recall if the YouTube feature is on the free version, but I'd start there first.

BIG PS BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THE CONVERTER: CLICK "CUSTOM" SO YOU CAN DECLINE ADD-ONS. THERE WILL BE SOME DURING THE INSTALL, SO READ CAREFULLY. DECLINING WILL NOT CANCEL THE INSTALL. I'VE HAD MINE FOR QUITE SOME TIME WITH NO DISCERNIBLE PROBLEMS WITH SPAM/SPYWARE, ETC. JUST PAY ATTENTION.
Simple Steps:
Open the desired YouTube web page, then highlight & click copy on the address bar
Open Freemake
Click the big box that says "Paste URL" (It will automatically fill in whatever address bar you've copied)
Click "Convert" and pick your poison--I usually use MP4
As long as downloading hasn't been blocked--doesn't happen often--it should start saving it to your pc
I've used this to download several of the OSU games that are kindly shared here--works just great for me.
If you want, later you can use the same program to burn the file to DVD.
