I thought I remembered it like that. A good idea that never came to fruition. I think Vandy backed out because they claimed the SEC was going to 9 game conference schedule and they couldn't make it work.

OSU Prez is now on board to vote YES. I saw a report where she is now against an outright cancellation of the season.
OSU players & Hartline said they want to play in the SEC if it meant they can play. That wouldn't surprise me at all.
Day is open for OSU to leave the B1G for a yr to play elsewhere. Possible, I saw Nebraska (Frost) said the same thing.
If south plays ball OSU wants in. Could depend on who they are referring to as "OSU", i.e. President, AD, coach, and/or players.

I took the "Yes"in his tweet to mean she would vote to cancel the season. I saw the same reports you mention. The other things are plausible, although I find it unlikely Bucks went to another conference for a year. As for the Galloway SMH ( Shaking My Head) Galloway was on ESPiN today saying nobody should care about what the players want or say, and people should only listen to medical professionals.

Might as well cancel it from the perspective of a team like Ohio State with all the guys transferring or going pro in that scenario imo. I see that scenario royally boning us. Freshman QB with several OL departing for the NFL Draft rather than returning? No thank you.
Unfortunately I can't see cocktails being mentioned on this site without thinking of his infamous parting blow that he had a high end happy hour to attend and could no longer argue.

Most certainly is the source of that reference. About pissed myself laughing the first time I read it. One day when I have the time and am bored (likely during a time when college football should be being played), I will dig it up.

Depends on what they mean by delay. Spring ball when everyone else outside the PAC12 plays fall nope.
If they mean just delaying fall as late as possible like the SEC might work. Whatever they decide though all the conferences have to agree non of this going off on your lonesome anymore.
