College sports in general and college football in particular has always been running on borrowed time. It's kinda starting to look like the clock is about to run out.

I'd imagine all the players and other persons present in the stadium would first be tested to confirm they're negative for COVID-19, but don't let me interrupt your indignant rant.As for playing the games just for television, how morally reprehensible is that. If the virus is still at a point where it's deemed unsafe to sit in a stadium, how safe is it for offensive and defensive lineman to be lined up across from each other breathing heavily?
At that point, call them what they would be: gladiators whose lives mean nothing and are willingly sacrificed for the entertainment of the masses. Bread and Circuses, indeed.
You would have to test continually just because your negative one week doesn’t mean in 2 weeks you wouldn’t be positive. Playing in Columbus a helluva lot more dangerous than playing in Lincoln.I'd imagine all the players and other persons present in the stadium would first be tested to confirm they're negative for COVID-19, but don't let me interrupt your indignant rant.
