Let's just hope the good OSU shows up vs NW.all about matchups
tsun had a much more experienced defense than OSU did during the season so it doesn't really shock me that they played better vs Purdue and Maryland. Plus their offensive style kept those opposing offenses off the field moreso than the OSU offense did or will ever do.
It's why the transitive thing never really works in football. Each game is different, each team matches up differently and teams performances are not static. It's a bunch of college aged kids, they are going to be schizo by nature.
Meh, Bucknuts had a scUM one too.It seems that mgoblow has to have tOSU ads to survive....View attachment 19643
I think my favorite play in the game was the 2nd TD to Olave. That was a play we just didn't see very often in the Barrett era. An anticipation throw to a spot, instead of an open receiver, and also the receiver goes up and gets it.
You had me at Thurman's[blog] I can't remember having such a great time attending a game and all the other festivities during the weekend. My boy and I came in on Friday from Denver, and the majority of folks on the plane were going to the game. I would say the breakdown was 90% good guys and 10% scum. We went to the basketball game at St. Johns on Friday night, followed by beers at the Varsity Club. Then on Saturday morning, tailgating, skull session and game. "Stormed" the field, and enjoyed the walk out through the tunnel in the Southeast corner with thousands of folks singing we don't give a damn. We then walked to the Ohio Union and had a few beers to finish the day, went to my brother's house, more beers and watched the replay. On Sunday, gear shopping to take back with us, and lunch at Thurman's. Does it get any better than that?! [/blog]
