My mother has been complaining that there isn't any leftover turkey, because all the people who don't usually like turkey nommed up large quantities.

Sorry, family, I'll try to ease off the deliciousness next time. *smug*

I want to tell you all about Fred. Fred liked long walks, jumping every few steps, perhaps flapping his useless turkey wings a bit. He enjoyed considering what his role was in the world, how he could maybe make a difference.

Anyway his head got chopped off and I ate him. He was tasty.

(and Happy Thanksgiving to Buckeye Nation!)
I’ll admit, I’m not a well versed Bourbon man so Makers Mark has always been fine to me but I think I’ll give this a try and buy a bottle........if we beat those fucksticks up north. That’s how I’ll celebrate.

5 years ago I was at my sister's in Toledo for Thansgiving dinner. A very large family event, close to 30 people, and unfortunately about half of theX root for TTUN. Before dinner, everybody took a turn saying soXething they were grateful for. I was near the end, and I said "I aX very grateful for J.T. Barrett." Of course, less than 48 hours later he was seriously injured at the start of the fourth quarter.

Now that wasn't good at all for J.T. personally, but the rest of the season sure worked out for Buckeye fans.

However, I will not say a thing about any Buckeye players prior to the turkey feast toXorrow.

It's been my experience that there are very few "bad" bourbons.

If it's a little off just put a little ginger ale in that sumbitch and thank me later.

Ginger beer please. Then you have Kentucky Mule.

Meanwhile, got some Blade and Bow coming to me on cannonball run from friend. Will be glad to see it. He might have some EH Taylor for me as well. Talk about a THANKSgiving.

That’s a good friend.

I just picked up the elusive key #4 at Party Source a few weeks ago to complete my Blade & Bow set. Time to schedule a Bourbon Trail crawl and redeem them at the distillery.

Les Nessman:
I'm here with hundreds of people who have gathered to witness what has been described as perhaps the greatest turkey event in Thanksgiving Day history. All we know for sure is that in a very few moments there are going to be a lot of happy people out here. Now the crowd is...

[passers-by gawk at Les]

Les Nessman:
The... the crowd is uh... curious but well behaved. And I think I hear something now. Uh... The crowd is moving out into the parking area. And... oh yes! I can see it now. It's a... it's a... helicopter and it's coming this way!

Andy Travis:
A helicopter?

Les Nessman:
It's flying something behind it and I can't quite make it out. It's a large banner and it says H A P P Y... T H A N K S... giving... from W... K... R... P! What a sight, ladies and gentlemen. What a sight. The 'copter seems to circling the parking area now. I guess it's looking for a place to land. No! Something just came out of the back of a helicopter. It's a dark object, perhaps a skydiver plummeting to the earth from only two thousand feet in the air... There's a third... No parachutes yet... Those can't be skydivers. I can't tell just yet what they are but... Oh my God! They're turkeys! Oh no! Johnny can you get this? Oh, they're crashing to the earth right in front of our eyes! One just went through the windshield of a parked car! This is terrible! Everyone's running around pushing each other. Oh my goodness! Oh, the humanity! People are running about. The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! Folks, I don't know how much longer... The crowd is running for their lives. I think I'm going to step inside. I can't stand here and watch this anymore. No, I can't go in there. Children are searching for their mothers and oh, not since the Hindenberg tragedy has there been anything like this. I don't know how much longer I can hold my position here, Johnny. The crowd...

Dr. Johnny Fever:
Les? Les? Les, are you there? Les isn't there. Thanks for that on-the-spot report, Les. For those of you who've just tuned in, the Pinedale Shopping Mall has just been bombed with live turkeys. Film at eleven.

I sincerely hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving, especially our men and women in the armed forces. I hope you all remember them in your prayers and or thoughts today. I wish you all get to be together with your loved ones and cherish them as you should. (yes even the fans of ttun).
It is a special day for me and my family and I hope it is for yours too. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
