This was a joke in response to his being asked when he'd play in an early-season destination tournament like Maui or Atlantis. He said the team would go to Atlantis next year ... in August. In other words, they're not going to play in one of those tourneys any time soon.

That was not a joke, he was saying that is their summer trip, answering the question of a fan who wanted to go to one of those destinations. They get one foreign trip every four years and haven't taken one since the summer before the 2009-10 season (perhaps not coincidentally another time when OSU had a PG transition to make). So they will be in the Bahamas, they won't be part of a tournament there, but they're going.
