3 missed extra points in one game? Did their kicker come in from Oregon St.?

That's a joke - and I know that Oregon State's kicker had a very fine season after the disastrous LSU game.

i dont get the game on tv, so any updates at all on anything dealing with the texas game would be very appreciated.
Like someone said earlier, the Ragin' Cajuns, bless their hearts, are completely over matched, they have moved the ball through the air on a few drives, but other than that they do nothing on offense and Texas drives the ball down the field on them at will. There's really not much to learn from this game.

One thing of note, it seems that the Cajuns are barely blitzing and are giving Young all day to throw the ball. Hopefully he gets nice and comfortable holding the ball in the pocket waiting forever for his receivers to get open.

I truly think that with our blitz packages next week we are going to confuse the hell out of him and force him into throwing some picks or running for his life. Like people have said over and over the key will be shutting down the run.

P.S. two of the extra points were blocked, he only missed one wide right

Texas scored again, and after the extra point, the kicker got a mock cheer from the crowd, and then ran off the field flashing the hook'em sign.

Which in his case indicates that he's 2 of 5 on extra points.

Texas' defensive ends over run the quarterback every single play. The Cajun's are having some success through the air.

The Cajun's are putting together a nice little drive here, we'll see if they can finish it off.

Texas' defensive line is dominating for the most part against the run, the Cajun's have gotten a few run plays in however. The backups are coming in already though, so take it with a grain of salt I guess.

The Cajun's can't finish the drive and Texas drives down the field and scores again. I think I'm done watching this game. Time to watch Notre Dame lose.

Bearing in mind that he's playing against a minor league program, which has had to spend the past week practicing on the edge of a horrific disaster zone... Vince Young really looks exceptional. He is the smoothest running QB I've ever seen, including Michael Vick.

Let's hope they get overconfident coming off of this rout. They're in for a big surprise when they meet Bobby, Donte, AJ and the boys.

we all know how good of a runner he is, what about how good of a passer he is?

With absolutely no pass rush and forever to find his receivers he is doing pretty good, however, they still aren't going down field with him very much and he is mostly throwing it to the flat or setting up screens. Also the Cajun's are giving such a HUGE cushion on the edge that they have been running comeback routes all day long as well.

Rajun Cajun's are so over matched, this is not even a scrimmage! This will do wonders for Texas and VY until the first Buckeye is all over his ass! We jump on these guys fast and their heads will be spinning.

Yikes. ULL offers little challenge in any part of the game to a vastly superior Horns squad. One wonders how this type of scrimmage competition can help Texas, but what do I know. Reminds me a bit about NCSt's game before Bucks when JT criticized the h.s. nature of their opponent before playing us at home. Maybe Texas doesn't get an edge because of this laugher, but then, the Horn's best competition may be playing each other in practice each day.

ULL is a gamer...they are trying sandlot ball to do something worthwhile here. Sortof the bully pick'n on youngsters.
