Texas Tech Red Raiders (official thread)

I read a comment on 11 Warriors saying the NCAA should upfront declare an auto forfeit of any game he appears in, as well as make them ineligible for the CFP. Interesting take
Which will immediately get taken to court and they will get an injunction which will bring us right back here. The NCAA needs get it out of courts that have contributions directly from the town/state involved but they cannot do so without either collective bargaining or Congress or both.

And the courts don't care about the case really they could drop it or rule against it after the season but oopsie he played all season anyways,

Are you referencing the upcoming 2026 games or the games played in the past ? It would be so on brand for the NCAA to punish Indiana and UC (who had no idea of his issues) and let TT move forward.
Well, UC did know about Sorsby gambling before last year. Maybe they didn’t know the extent of the gambling.

As for TT, Sorsby is ineligible per the NCAA, so they can play him at their risk. There was some other case like this and the NCAA took away wins despite the injunction.

Yeah but like TSUN was going to if they took away the ship I doubt TT will give 2 shits about vacated wins if they go anywhere this year

The NCAA just needs to hire a couple goons and break the little duchebags legs. Problem solved.
I know a bar in Chicago where that can very easily be arranged.

Win, no matter the cost.

I won't say Pandora's box is opened. But CFB has been slowly selling its soul for money the last 30 years. The last 15 years have seen that pace accelerated.

This is only the natural conclusion, the singularity, that the sport is reaching. The NCAA didn't want to punish scUM because it boiled down to money.

Yet only now, the integrity of the game is somehow at stake.

Bunch of clowns; from the NCAA, TTU, the boosters, down to the local judge.

Other players wondering why they got the shaft.

(Because their school didn’t defend them, say “screw it” and find a local judge. The sport is basically in the hands of states/county judges to enforce different rules at this point.)
