NSFW video surfaces appearing to show Texas coach ripping players for laughing after loss

It’s been an interesting past few weeks for the University of Texas football team. First, there was an incident when an assistant football coach’s girlfriend’s pet monkey allegedly bit a child at Halloween.

Now comes the news of what appears to be video showing assistant coach Bo Davis going after his players after they lost to Iowa State Saturday, 30-7.

Davis seems to be upset with his players not taking the loss seriously and laughing. Davis could be heard on the video cursing the Longhorn players out:

“Some of you motherf—ers need to get in the transfer portal,” the voice says, in part. “You want to go? Get in the motherf—er. This s— ain’t a game to me. … I got my a— kicked, and you motherf—ers want to laugh?”

Bo Davis Overreaction? Texas' Sarkisian Weighs In On Video

Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis made headlines this past week following the release of a viral video of him laying into Longhorns players in an expletive-filled rant following a 30-7 loss to Iowa State.

There are two sides to every story. Some commend Davis for expecting more out of the Longhorns (4-5, 2-4 Big 12) following the team's four-game losing streak. Others considered his actions unnecessary in today's day in age.

Texas coach Steve Sarkisian weighs in on the latter side.

"I think one thing that jumped out to me when I first saw the video, you could hear the passion in Bo’s voice,” Sarkisian told reporters Thursday at his weekly Zoom press conference. “We really believe in the staff that we hired and what we came here to do. You

Oh no. Young adults being yelled at by their coach. How will we survive? I do agree on the recruiting front though. Kids aren't motivated the same maybe as those in the past. Welp, off to yell at clouds.

You watch, someone will feel threatened by words and they'll have to fire him.

Public apology to the social media angry mob at a minimum.

That's a bold strategy in today's world when it seems that if you're not competing at a high level within 2-3 years, your seat starts getting pretty damn hot. Especially with an impatient fanbase like Tejas. They're staring down a losing season this year, now he's looking to gut the roster and start over next year? That pretty much clinches another bad year next season.

It's one thing if it's a proven winner with a track record of top notch recruiting doing it, but Sark is a career <.600 coach and now in his 8th year, his best season was 9-4 in his first year at USC. This should be entertaining...

Maybe Sark has figured out that there is a kind of freedom in being totally screwed. I say go for it.

Texas is already creating top tier content on a daily basis. Coach’s stripper wife’s monkey attacking kid, coach’s profanity laced tirade getting recorded and distributed, their clueless jock sniffing Texas-is-faultless fans, and rumors about Bijan Robinson sitting out or transferring…this should continue to be, as the kids would say, straight fire

I'd be the Bobby Knight of football coaches I'm sure. No phones in my locker room or social media anywhere. Soft ass freaking society we're living in.
I’ve always thought I’d be the Knight of baseball managers if I had that job.

First time some fucknut took a 2-1 fastball I’d come unhinged in the dugout, probably opening day, beat a water cooler to death and it would just go from there. Players would frag me or I’d off myself before it got hot outside.

Zero chance I’d make 162 games as a MLB manager.
