HineyGate is just a large party with live music thrown for every home game at the Holiday Inn on Lane Ave
BEHOLD: The Power of Beer!exhawg said:Does that chick in the middle look a little big to be on someones shoulders or is it just me? I'm a big guy and I think I would have trouble holding her ass up. :p
Careful Hawg...I remember last time I cracked on some anonymous chick in a photo...sorry Wolfexhawg said:Does that chick in the middle look a little big to be on someones shoulders or is it just me? I'm a big guy and I think I would have trouble holding her ass up. :p
The 5-0 definitely do not look the other now, on Lane Avenue, thanks to that bitch Holbrook. If you take a beer out of Hiney Gate-which is across the street from campus-not part of it-you are risking a citation in a large way. You cannot tailgate in the parking lot of the Shoe anymore. I prefer the Coors Light thing next door to Hineygate anyhow, less crowded, but still a great time.High Lonesome said:the only real "wet" campus that i even know of anymore in texas is rice... They still throw keggers in the dorms and play drinking games in the back of classes. Texas has one bar on campus but it sucks for the most part and is way overpriced. other than that its drink at your own risk, gameday is a little different, people tend to look the other way
at least the shoe has a parkinglot.stxbuck said:The 5-0 definitely do not look the other now, on Lane Avenue, thanks to that bitch Holbrook. when i was a freshman the entire city of Austin was fairly lax on underage drinking. Then came Jenna Bush. Not that i really blame her(what kind of a resraunt calls the cops on a fake ID?) but surely she understood that she was in the public eye, and as well loved as that family is in austin, well something was bound to happen.Sloopy45 said:stx: "The 5-0 definitely do not look the other now, on Lane Avenue, thanks to that bitch Holbrook."
Its not Holbrook's fault. They started cracking down on that stuff back in the '94-'95 school year under Gordon Gee.
I remember drinking WITH the cops as an 18 year old my freshman year. Begining in September '94, they started bringing out the paddywagons, busting balls, & looking for drinkers like bloodhounds, and all that shit was over.
