You're entitled to your opinion, but the reality is as long as that 60+ million check clears, the noon games (the traditional timeslot for college football ANYWAY) is going to remain a Fox property. Ohio State is by far the most valuable property in that collection, so there you have it.
It doesn't matter what some jerkoff state rep tries or what Bjork says, that contract isn't going to change with Fox given their other commitments. That's just reality.
The Shoe has hosted, I think, 21 total night games. It's hardly anything like a regular deal and it's NEVER been a regular deal pre-Fox TV contract. It's not going to change anytime soon.
And yeah, the atmosphere is, in part, a fan problem. A lot of people go and sit on their hands. Or go just to bitch about whatever it is that is bothering them that day. I go to games, yes. Kind of a weird attempted flex but ok. Anyway, the fans aren't solely or even in the majority of the blame for it, as I view the gameday atmosphere to be the responsibility of both the fans and the athletic administration. I said it last year - the gameday experience is too corporate. It's the same at night and during gamedays. It's something Bjork CAN do something about and he's said he will.
College football should be played on clear crisp fall days at or around noon. Now give the governor a harrumph!
