Texas A&M Aggies, aTm (official thread of jizz jars)

That school seems to relish the role of being the perpetual victim of outside forces. Something tells me that subconsciously they're right where they want to be: on the outside playing the victim and whining about how they would have beaten the teams that got in ahead of them rather than actually being in the playoffs and having to prove it.
Well, this was, what, the greatest 5-loss team in the history of sports last year?

Basically Jimbo admitting on no prep talent wins and we have more talent then them.

wait, was there any actual debate about which roster had more talent?

SKULL SESSION: TEXAS A&M FANS THINK THEIR RECORD IS BETTER THAN OHIO STATE, THE GAME'S CANCELLATION COST FOX $18 MILLION, AND MIKE TOMLIN PRAISES CHASE YOUNG

0 > 1?
I learned a long time ago that devoted college football fandom is much more similar to substance addiction than we’d all like to admit.

I mean, think about the monetary and time commitment, the everyday dedication, the insane things we rationalize, the arguments we're willing to have, the impact it has on our emotional wellbeing, etc. It's like an addiction to drugs.

That's why I'm not shocked at all that a Texas A&M fan went online today to essentially argue with strangers that one is less than zero. Because when you really break it down, that is the argument this poor fellow pulled out.

It started out reasonably harmless – or at least, as "harmless" as convincing yourself of something untrue can possibly be – with just some standard insane arguments about Aggies' playoff resume.

Now, you'll notice that a column for "losses" does not appear anywhere. But this lad had an absolutely galaxy-brained response to someone who very reasonably pointed that out to him, which basically translates to "being undefeated is actually worse than getting blown out in a football game."

Folks, let me introduce you to my new favorite stat called "adjusted losses."

Look, I love advanced stats. I think they're great and I think there's probably even a place for this one. But using it like this makes it look like you're on drugs – which, as mentioned, you could argue that he basically is.

Just sayin': Reminds me of 2014, whining that Baylor and/or TCU are better than Ohio State.

what the hell is an adjusted loss?

Sounds overly optimistic; I don't think the SEC is that anxious to get better recruiting access to Pennsylvania.

A&M wasn't about recruiting Texas. Whole conference already did that fairly well.
it was all about TV in Texas (especially the Houston Market).

That's no way to talk about your rival.

Ooops, it was in this one:

Texas A&M fans upset with comments made by ESPN broadcast crew during LSU game

Texas A&M took down LSU 20-7 on Saturday night. After being ranked No. 5 in the first College Football Playoff rankings, it was not exactly a win that will get the Aggies any style points.

But, it was a win, and we’ll see where A&M stands when the new rankings come out on Tuesday night.

However, some fans think ESPN doesn’t want the Aggies in the Playoff. Comments made by analyst Dan Orlovsky and the broadcast crew drew the ire of Texas A&M supporters.

Here is some of the reaction to the broadcast crew:
