Report: Texas A&M has decided to fire coach Kevin Sumlin after LSU game
Sumlin is 51-25 overall and 25-22 in the SEC over six seasons in College Station
Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin will be fired shortly after Saturday's regular season finale against LSU -- regardless of the outcome of the game -- according to the Houston Chronicle, which cited multiple sources close to to the situation.
Sumlin has not had a winning SEC record since his first season with the program,when the Aggies went 11-2 overall and 6-2 in the SEC in 2012 as quarterback Johnny Manziel won the Heisman Trophy.

Just sayin": Texas A&M is delusional. They should "see the light" and realize that Sumlin is a pretty good coach; and it isn't very likely that they could do any better. They think they are a "top tier" school and they are not. They are not the top school in Texas, UT is. They are not a top tier school in the SEC either; Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and even Tennessee are ahead of them. They have a good fan base but they rarely make the cut for most 5 star prospects. Texas high schools produces a lot of division 1 prospects so even with the left overs from Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU, etc. they can field a competitive team; however, not necessarily a championship one.
