Not to digress, but when Colt came in as the QB at Texas wasn't there a more highly recruited QB that came in as part of the same class? Isn't Colt from a small town program?

QB's in Colt's class that were more highly touted than him:

Rhett Bomar (booted from Oklahoma for taking money for a job he didn't do), Ryan Perrilloux (gave a verbal to Texas, but decommited and went to LSU. Got the boot from LSU this past offseason.), and Kirby Freeman (went to Miami, sucked, transferred to Baylor, lost the starting job to freshman Robert Griffin this year)

Jevan Snead came in the year after, during Colt's first year starting and transferred to Ole Miss the next season.

Thanks for the info...I thought I recalled that there was another QB that came to Texas with Colt that was from a big high school and highly recruited and Colt beat him out....
