HUGE and unexpected commitment. This DL class is going to be unreal...Bosa, Copper, and Hall on the edges is ridiculous. Plus Sammons somewhere along the DL most likely. Just find a few big fellas inside and this DL class might be the best to go down in the books. I'm looking at you Gary. But welcome aboard Terrell and thank you LJ Sr. for pulling off a big get in your territory.

I wonder if OSU gets commitments from Bosa, Sammons and Robertson to go with our 2 DE commitments, we shut down looking at DEs for 2016. Out of all of those guys it still only seems like Bosa can play SDE, and Sammons is a wildcard for a number of positions

That has to be one of the best first steps I've seen in years, and he's got the moves to match. On film, you can see he has the ability to successfully execute bullrushes, swim moves and spin moves against TEs, Ts and Gs. When it comes to effort, he seems to do whatever it takes to disrupt the QB or ball carrier. He's one of those guys who puts his body in compromising positions just to make the play. His #3 WDE rating on 247 is absolutely justified. ELITE end prospect.

Haha, if we get those 5 guys, we could shut down DE recruiting for a couple years. If we do land those 5, I would think Bosa and Hall get into the rotation immediately, Cooper and Robertson redshirt and Sammons goes to OT. With so much time until they get on campus, who knows how it will actually shake out.

I hear you, but if we are to remain in the NC hunt every year, our DE recruiting will have to remain at this level. It's going to be fun to see how this plays out. LJsr could make him a star in college.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I love elite pass rushers. Ring one win up for Larry Johnson and his DC/Maryland connections. Two defensive ends is all one really needs in a class, and we have two elite commits now. If Bosa or other elite prospect joins, that is icing on the cake.

He looks like he has really hit the weight room hard this off-season. If you look at the pics from November to January it looks like he has added some great weight.

Again, this is the kid OSU hand picked to compliment Bosa and Cooper. Lots of offers get thrown out, but very few get identified as must gets. I know for a fact this kid was one of them.

Yeah, definitely. My comment about not recruiting DEs for a couple years was tongue-in-cheek. I'm sure this staff is going to be relentless about stocking up on talent in the trenches.
