Or she could come out looking completely sluggish and lose in straight sets to Jankovic, who has struggled to just make it this far.

I switched over to watch ESPN2 after watching a DVD last night, and was surprised that her match was already over. Serena had looked good the first week, and Jankovic had been shaky, but she does get almost everything back. Sharapova looks like the one to beat at this point, but I'll be cheering for Ivanovic.

I've got to say that while I respect Federer's game, he's turned into one of the more pompous athletes out there. I really hope Djokovic knocks him off his pedestal in the next couple years.

Yep, I've been watching. Blake looked good last match, but yeah, he won't make it past Roger. Looks like Djokovic is once again the best chance...

Djokovic played great, and Federer was just OK. Fed served for the first set up 5-3, but lost 4 straight games. Djokovic broke him in the second on a running backhand that went around the outside of the net, a helluva shot. Fed had a couple of set points in the third set on Djokovic's serve, but Djokovic served big into the ad court the whole match.

Fed was up a mini-break early in the final set tie-break, but had unforced errors to lose it. Djokovic's court coverage and consistent depth on his ground strokes were key.

I didn't stay up tp watch it - I recorded it, got up early and watched it fast-forwarding between points. That way I missed about half of Djokovic's 2000 ball-bounces before his serves. :tongue2:

He'd be as annoying as Sharapova if he wasn't so much fun to watch. I'll also be pulling for Ivanovic tonight. For the men's final, I'm torn. It's always fun to see an unseeded player win a major, but I think I'd rather see Djokovic rewarded for taking out Federer.

Au revoir, Justine. I never could decide if I admired you for your grit or disliked you for your questionable sportsmanship.

I won't miss her at all.

I've never forgiven her for holding up her hand when Serena was about to serve in their French Open match, and then not admitting it and allowing Serena to rightfully have her first serve over again. And then the Roland Garros crowd turned on Serena. That turned that match around and stoped the incredible Grand Slam roll that Serena was on.

And Justine not finishing out her Aussie final against Mauresmo was a total crock of shit.
