Tennessee 52, Kentucky 50 (FINAL - 4 OT)

Every team that has lived dangrously this year ended up running out of good fortune.

Yesterday, it happened to LSU and Texas.

Today, it happened to Virginia.

But if Tennessee wins this game, then they truly are a team that cheats death and never dies.

They're called competitive games. When you get two well matched teams together, games are usually going to come down to the wire. Doesn't mean they're lucky.

Are you kidding me?

UT has been absolutely detonated twice this year in front of God and the world, how is that living lucky?

what a game!

Remember back around the year 2000, when the CUSA and MAC had some of the greatest games in the history of either conference? And remember how all those teams were blown out almost instantly by every quality opponent they faced?

The MSEC has devolved into what those leagues used to be.

Great and fun games to watch, but the quality of the football is suffering.

Good.

Now they beat a deflated LSU team and the SEC champ is a team that got the piss beat out of them by Cal.

A UT win is ok with me... UGA wont have a big win to jump up and LSU wont have a big win to jump up. Not that either should affect OSU.

edit- finally over 4OT 52-50

UGA wouldn't have jumped us with a UT loss (as UT beat them), regardless of the outcome (pending) of the Ga. Tech game and the SEC game in prospect.

LSU can still have a big game against the Vols and not jump us.

Look at what happened against Vanderbilt in the second half.

Consider how they beat South Carolina.

And look at how many bullets they dodged today against Kentucky.

Now, the team that was detonated three times (Alabama putting up 41 doesn't count?) has proven that it truly is what I thought it was- a skunk-lucky, bullet-dodging, kissed-by-an-angel-from-above team.

That is NOT the type of team that can beat an angry LSU.

Barring another miracle, the Bayou Bengals will slaughter both Tennessee and Hawaii and Les Miles will probably stay another year.
