Coutu will miss Tennessee game
ATHENS, Ga. ? Georgia kicker Brandon Coutu will miss Saturday night's game against Tennessee after injuring his right knee in practice on Thursday.
Coutu, who felt a pop behind his knee after attempting a new style onside kick, was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam on Thursday night. Georgia coach Mark Richt wasn't sure how long the junior would be out.
"It is severe enough for him not to kick this week ? and it could be more," the coach said.
Junior kicker Andy Bailey will fill in on field goals and extra points, while sophomore walk-on Ben Wilson will handle the kickoff duties. Bailey, who hasn't kicked since 2004, went 14-for-20 on field goals that included a 46-yarder during his last stint.
Coutu kicked 7-of-8 field goals this season. He made a 58-yarder against Louisiana-Monroe last year and from 55-yards away in the game against UAB this season.
