I'm going to go with overconfident. Most coaches who take new jobs in shitty situations tend to be a little positive about their abilities...

Y’all do know that UT is in Knoxville, not Nashville? And that the best BBQ in Tennessee is in Memphis? Lastly, if you’re thinking Nashville Hot Chicken is overrated you must be getting it at Col. Sander’s joint, not Hattie B’s!

You do know that motor vehicles exist, right? Unless he'll be on house arrest when he arrives, he's free to visit Nashville or Memphis whenever he pleases.
