TenneCheat VolunTears (but..but..but.. we're good at baseball)

Couple of things:

1). Booooo Dan Wetzel. I do not tolerate slander against "The Fun-Belt"

2). I would like to begin a dialogue about the fact that Heupel is winning with Pruitts recruits. If Kirby had to listen to that shit during our Rosebowl/runner up year in 2017, Heupel has to do it now.

3). Would be just a crying shame if this proved to be a distraction over the coming weeks.

Man, you just hate to see this...SE-Cheat living up to its name. Honestly though, I would rather see Tennessee successful over the rest of the SEC schools, save maybe Vanderbilt but we all know that is never going to happen. Then again, after what happened to OSU in "Tat Gate", I really don't give a shit what punishments come to teams that flagrantly break the rules. We got a borderline death penalty for players exchanging memorabilia for tattoos, so if we are talking equivalent penalties then UT goes into the NCAA metaphorical prison if half of what is alleged is true.

Burrow has slightly better stats:

Hendon Hooker explains decision to sign with Tennessee
“I was looking for a place to call home, that I could communicate well with my coaches — my offensive coordinator, my quarterbacks coach and also my head coach,” Hooker told Austin Price and Chris Low on The Nation Sunday night. “Somewhere where I could showcase my talents to the best of my abilities.”
Entire article: https://www.rockytopinsider.com/202...essee/#:~:text=17.,the best of my abilities.”

I had forgotten that Hooker is a transfer from VaTech. I guess that (i.e. QB transferred) is another similarity between the 2 teams.

Nothing will happen that will impact them. Maybe a few scholarships lost. I would be shock to see a post season ban. I don’t think it’s a sec thing, it’s just the ncaa knows they are hanging on to power by a thread and if they piss off the sec enough that they could start making some calls.

I mean you have major schools just daring the ncaa to do something. We have a grad assistant coaching the linebackers, Bama has 20 analysts who aren’t ‘coaches’. Schools are setting up players with NiL deals. You’ve got very clear pay for play at the aTm.

yeah I’m pissed about tatgate, but that was a different time.

Let’s see if Tennessee makes it to the SECCG before making these comparisons.
