Tenn 13 at Florida 23 (final)

Well, I've learned something.

Get after Tebow - especially when he's in the shotgun.

This team is very beatable, pretty much every team in America is. It feels much like 2007, there is no school that's head and shoulders above their competition - its going to be a very interesting season.

Good win though Gators.

A "W". Me happy. Drunk. Sunburned. Fuck it was hot. Deonte was out with the flu, which hit some of the team. Demps was playing with a 101 temp today they said.

Good game plan by Lame's dad, the zone blitzes were effective. If Tim does not fumble on the five, we likely go up 30-6 and I think we win bigger as they give up, but if we are going to bitched at for a 10 pt win, then it is a good time to be alive

30-6 sounds like the 35-14 game we should have had against Navy. Florida will get some well-earned media flack for letting UT give them a better game than they should have, but a W's a W and you're still in the driver's seat for the title game(s). In Tebow Tressel trusts.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVEr_Bg8wI8"]YouTube - (HD) Tim Tebow vs. Eric Berry[/ame]

I tell you, words cannot express how much I respect Eric Berry. He had a great pick on Tebow, and he is not afraid to go head to head with the larger man. The collision was a a good one. Berry is a high, high first round pick in my book.

He who dareth to tackle Lord Tim Tebow, our Savior, shall be deemed a high first round pick in ye old NFL Draft.

Damn straight! Unlike that Rhodes Scholar from FSU who promised to take him out - but used the matador cape whiff when the opportunity to collide finally came.

Four more rushing TDs and Lord Tebow passeth the SEC record set by the Evil Dark Mutt Lord Hush-ul Walker. :banger:

"I didn't feel like they were going after the win," Meyer said. "They wanted
to shorten the game. I think that was the plan. There are 10 minutes to go
and they're not in a no-huddle. It's 23-6 and no urgency (on Tennessee's part).

"The way we lose a game there is throw an interception. Why put yourself
in that position? Let's find a way to win the game. We're not trying to
impress the pollsters. We're trying to win the game. A lot of it had to do
with the way they were playing. It made our life a little easier."

Urban says that Kiffin was trying harder not to get beaten badly than to win. Put another way, "Kiffin is too chicken to play to win." :slappy:

And so it continues...

Lanie shoots back....

Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin says he put his Vols in the best position they could be to beat Florida. Then he took one more shot at Gators coach Urban Meyer.

Meyer said Sunday that he kept his game plan conservative in No. 1 Florida's 23-13 win, and that several of his players had been hit by the flu.

On Monday, Kiffin said he didn't want to respond to Meyer's comment, but when asked if he was worried about the flu hitting his team, he couldn't help himself.

"I don't know," Kiffin said. "I guess we'll wait and after we're not excited about a performance, we'll tell you everybody was sick."

:slappy:

This is going to be a lot of fun to follow for the next couple years. I can't wait until (close your eyes, Gator) UT actually wins one (okay, you can open them). If he's this much of a dick when he hasn't done shit, how obnoxious will he be when they actually do something good?

"This offseason the commissioner made a big deal of renewing vows in terms of what we say about other teams, other coaches and other players" Kiffin said. "Obviously Urban feels he doesn't need to follow that. We won't say anything else."
